If you would like to offer refugees and asylum seekers active assistance with integration and care, you can contact volunteer agencies, volunteer centres and other coordination centres.

Residence permit due to expulsion

If you have fled from Ukraine, you can receive a residence permit for temporary protection under certain conditions.

Applying for an employment permit for persons with a residence permit

If you would like to work during an ongoing asylum procedure and have already found an employer who would like to employ you, you can apply for an employment permit.

Applying for a settlement permit for holders of a residence permit for international law, humanitarian or political reasons

If you are in possession of a residence permit for reasons of international law, humanitarian or political reasons, you can, under certain conditions, obtain an unlimited settlement permit after five years.

Settlement permit Issued to holders of a residence permit as recognized asylum seekers or refugees

If you are a recognized asylum seeker, refugee under the Geneva Refugee Convention or resettlement refugee, you can receive a permanent settlement permit after three or five years under certain conditions.

If you are in possession of a residence permit for employment (gainful employment) and would like to change employers, this is possible under certain conditions.
